Today we are launching the public betas of AdRouterCLI and AdRouter Agent. They connect independently to AdRouter, keep sponsor information in a separate display and accounting channel, and put the developer in control of local workspace access.

The clients are publicly installable now. Hosted account and model access may still be gated while the broader AdRouter service remains in pre-launch.

Two ways to build with AdRouter

AdRouterCLI

AdRouterCLI 0.81.0-beta.20 is a terminal coding agent with workspace trust, tools, profiles, and explicit command approvals. Trust only workspaces you recognize. Inside the TUI, /ads shows sponsored-compute state and lets you disable it without changing the model conversation.

AdRouter Agent

AdRouter Agent 0.1.0-beta.16 is a desktop coding agent built around a local-first workspace flow. File reads can remain quiet, while every mutation and general command requires a fresh Allow once or Deny decision. Agent-authored changes are shown as read-only diffs; the app does not stage, commit, push, elevate, or disable host security and currently runs one task at a time.

The beta targets macOS 12+ universal, Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 x64, and Windows 11 x64. Builds are unsigned and not notarized, and updates are currently manual. Read the AdRouter Agent repository or install its launcher from npm.

Eight registry routes, six coding-client routes

The current registry exposes eight model routes. Six currently advertise the tool-calling contract used by the CLI and Agent. Agnes 2.5 Pro and Agnes 2.5 Pro Alpha remain WebUI-chat routes and are not presented as coding-client compatible. Actual availability can depend on the account, provider, region, and current beta gates; clients discover the catalog from AdRouter rather than assuming every route is enabled.

Sponsors stay outside the work

Sponsor and settlement data remain display and accounting metadata only. They are not added to model prompts or answers, tool definitions or results, commands, patches, or compacted context. Turning sponsored compute off is a hard safety switch, not a suggestion to the model.
